Design Compatability
The Model UD dual element electrode is frequently specified for use between the primary and secondary containment of an aboveground storage tank or between adjacent storage tanks at service stations. It can also be installed in a 2 inch (5 cm) diameter hole which makes it ideal for retrofit through asphalt or concrete where drilling a large diameter hole is difficult or costly.

Installation
ASTs: Place directly on the sand bed at a depth that will ensure at least 2 inches (5 cm) of sand between the reference and the structure. Other applications: Drill a 2 inch (5 cm) dia. hole, lower the electrode into place and slurry in backfill.
