The model
identification used for EDI products consists of three groups, eg: FS-AGG-ST.
The first group defines the basic product while the second and third groups
define the various options associated with that product. This selection guide
briefly describes products within the EDI F Series. For further information,
see the individual data sheets.
F Series references are available with Cu/CuSO4, Ag/AgCl,
or Zn elements. Terminations include both wire and stud ends. EDI designs and
builds custom through wall references for any installation. In addition, we
offer through wall references with several common mounting styles as listed
below.
FS
- Standard Probe: This reference has a 3/4" NPT PVC nipple mount.
It is widely used in power plant waterboxes and other ambient temperature,
low pressure applications. The termination end threads into a Condulet-type
fitting.
FH
- Heavy-Duty Probe: This is a more rugged version of the FS - Standard
Probe with a stainless steel nipple and a G-10 GRE element housing. It is
used where the installation must be resistant to external damage.
FA
- Adjustable Probe: This reference has a smooth 3/4" dia. body and
is intended to be installed through a Conax-type gland. It is used in similar
applications as the FS - Standard Probe.
FE
- Process Vessel Bridge/Reference Electrode: This is a unique two piece
reference consisting of a bridge which is permanently installed in a vessel
and a reference which is either permanently or temporarily inserted into
the bridge to make potential readings. It can be used at temperatures, pressures
and environments where ordinary reference electrodes cannot survive such
as in oil-field and pulp and paper applications.
